Delete your account

You can have your My Bowling Journey account and all the data in it permanently deleted. This page explains how, and exactly what goes.

The quickest way: do it yourself, in the app

You don't need to ask us, and you don't need to wait. In My Bowling Journey:

Open Settings
Scroll to Danger Zone
Tap Delete My Account
Type your email address to confirm

Your account and everything in it are removed straight away, and you're signed out.

Don't have the app any more?

If you've uninstalled it, changed phones, or simply can't get in, email us from the address your account uses with Delete in the subject line. We'll confirm it's you, then delete the account and its data within 30 days.

Export your data first if you want to keep it. In the app, go to Settings → Backup & Restore and save the file. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — once your bowling history is gone, we cannot get it back for you, and neither can you.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account, including:

Deleted	Details
Your account	Your email address and sign-in record
Your profile	Bowler name, handedness, style, home centers, goals
Your bowling history	Every shot, frame, game, score and session you have recorded
Your equipment	Ball arsenal, bags, lane lines and any patterns you saved
Your connections	Friendships, team memberships, coaching relationships and notes
Diagnostics	Error reports recorded against your account

What may remain

Leagues and teams other bowlers are still using. If you created a league or team that other people bowl in, it stays — otherwise they would lose it because you left. It simply no longer shows you as its creator. A league or team nobody else is in is deleted along with everything else.
What other bowlers recorded themselves. If a teammate logged a match you both bowled, that entry belongs to their account rather than yours, much as a printed scoresheet would. Your own records, your name and your account are still deleted.
Limited records we must keep. We may retain a small amount of information where required for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance, and no longer than necessary.
